The monthly rates for consumers connected to the City of Groton Sanitary Sewer are based on average water use in the months of November through April. Each sanitary sewer service is figured independently.

If there is abnormally high usage during the base months due to plumbing malfunctions, the consumer may request rates be based upon a different set of months dependent upon providing written proof of malfunctions.

Residences or businesses that are unoccupied or capped during the base months shall have usage calculated based upon the closest occupied or uncapped months.
